Youth & Children's Groups

We love children at St Martin's! At our 10:30am service we have four groups for children, plus a youth group for our older kids:

Age: 18 months - 3 years

Tots meet in the porch space, where they do lots of singing, reading and craft as they learn simple truths which will be the building blocks of their Christian faith.

.Age: 3 - 5 years (School Nursery & Reception)

Scramblers meets with our Climbers in our hall. They'll start to understand the Bible passage with the aid of games, songs, and drama. Then they will split off into their age group to think more about the meaning behind the Bible passage, often by doing a craft activity.

Age: 5 - 7 years (School Years 1 & 2)

Climbers meets in our hall with our Scramblers. They dive into a Bible passage, and explore what it's teaching them thorugh games, songs, and drama. During the session they will split off into their age group to apply and reflect on what they've learnt through an age-appropriate activity.

Age: 7 - 11 years (School Years 3 - 6)

Explorers meet in our pre-vestry area, where they have fun digging deeper into a Bible passage and chatting it through, along with plenty of games and fun! 

 Age: 11+ years

Our youth group stays in for our service on Sunday mornings, then meets on Sunday evenings in the Hall at 6pm. We chat through a Bible passage together, plus have lots of fun with games, drama and snacks!

We also have a Baby Zone available at the back of church during our services with play mats for our littlest ones.
